Cristiano Russo received the PhD degree from both Universitá degli Studi Di Napoli Federico II and Université Paris-Est in 2020.

He received the MSc degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, Universitá degli Studi Di Napoli Federico II, in 2017.

His research interests include bioinformatics, information retrieval, ontologies, NoSQL databases, cognitive robotics, machine learning and data mining.

Russo is part of the Intelligent KNOwledge Systems Lab (IKNOS LAB) and COmputational and Systems Biology Lab (COSMO LAB) CNR IEOS-UNINA. He also collaborates with Pattern analysis and Intelligent Computation for Multimedia Systems Lab (Picus Lab) at UNINA.

He is program committee member of international conferences, and he contributes as a reviewer for several international journals and conferences. He is currently studying the field related to gene regulatory networks at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR) in Naples, Italy and he has also didactical commitments as contract lecturer with different universities. He has several publications in international conference and journals. Russo has been supervisor of several MSc Management Engineering thesis and co-supervisor of BSc/MSc Computer Science Engineering thesis.
