Domenico Amalfitano is assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (DIETI) at the University of Naples Federico II.

He received the PhD in Computer and Automatic Engineering in 2011 at the University of Naples Federico II.

His research activity mainly focuses in the field of Software Engineering with a specific interest in the areas of empirical software, software architecture design, reengineering, reverse engineering, software testing, software testing automation, software maintenance, and quality assessment of software development processes.

He served as chair and program committee member of international conferences and workshops in the field of software engineering and software testing. He has (co)authored more than 40 papers in international journals and conferences
